Recall Recap: March 30 - April 6, 2026

Overview: Recall City!

Hey folks, buckle up! This week (March 30 - April 6, 2026) was a doozy in the recall world. We've got a whopping 34 recalls to tell you about. That's a lot, even for us! Looks like manufacturers and retailers had a busy week (and not in a good way). Make sure you're checking your homes and pantries for these items. Your safety is our top priority!

Here's the breakdown by agency:

  • CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission): 25
  • FDA Food: 8
  • FDA Drug: 1
  • USDA (Department of Agriculture): 0
  • NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration): 0

No vehicle recalls this week from NHTSA and zero USDA recalls. Let's jump into the notable recalls this week.

Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Recalls: Watch Out for These!

The CPSC had a busy week, with 25 recalls! Here are a few of the ones that caught our eye:

  • Nexgrill Recalls Over 10.2 Million Metal Wire Bristle Grill Brushes: Yikes! This is a big one. Those bristles can break off and get into your food, leading to serious internal injuries. If you've got one of these from Home Depot, ditch it immediately.
  • Petzl America Recalls Nomic and Ergonomic Ice Climbing Axes: Calling all climbers! This is a serious fall hazard. Get those axes checked out ASAP.
  • Infant Walkers Recalled: Infant walkers are a big no-no! They don't meet safety standards and pose a significant risk of falls. If you have one, especially one bought from Amazon's Goregent Official Store, stop using it immediately.
  • Tainoki Fine Furniture Recalls Office Chairs: Nobody wants a surprise drop at the office! These chairs are a fall hazard.
  • 4our Kiddies Tip Restraint Kits Recalled: These kits are SUPPOSED to prevent furniture tip-overs, not CAUSE them! Definitely check these!
  • AirClub Convertible Bassinets Recalled: Another infant product with a fall hazard and not meeting standards for bedside sleepers.
  • CCCEI Brand Power Strips Recalled: Fire hazard alert! Power strips should protect from surges, not cause them. If bought online, get rid of!
  • DIY Cold Plunge Recalls Sauna Heater Kits: This week's trifecta of fire hazard recalls.

FDA Food Recalls: What's on Your Plate?

The FDA's food division reported eight recalls this week. Be sure to check your fridge and freezer!

  • Made Fresh Salads Cream Cheese Recalls: It seems like there was some issue with the Made Fresh Salads brand of cream cheese, with Lox, Whipped, and Scallion flavors all being recalled in 5-lb tubs.
  • ZHONG HUA CHAO MIAN NOODLES: Noodles mentioned for secondary packaging issues.
  • Lowes Foods sour cream and onion flavored potato chips: Watch out for those snacks!
  • Frozen Raw Bulk 9 inch Blueberry Crumble Pie: Frozen pie recalled, check that freezer!

FDA Drug Recalls: Check Your Medicine Cabinet

Only one drug recall popped up this week:
