Weekly Recall Recap: March 23-30, 2026

Hey everyone, and welcome back to your weekly recall roundup! We're here to keep you informed about the latest product safety alerts coming out of the CPSC and FDA. Staying informed is key to protecting yourself and your family, so let's dive right in!

Overview: Recalls This Week

This week, March 23rd to March 30th, 2026, we saw a total of 7 recalls. The breakdown looks like this:

  • CPSC: 1
  • FDA Food: 5
  • FDA Drug: 1

It's a bit of a quieter week than some we've seen, but that doesn't mean you can relax. Each recall is important, and could potentially impact you. Let's take a closer look at some of the notable ones.

CPSC Recall: Adult Portable Bed Rails

The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a recall for MPINOI Adult Portable Bed Rails, sold on Amazon by Bioenrrty. This is a serious one! These bed rails violate mandatory safety standards and pose a significant risk of serious injury or death from entrapment and asphyxiation. If you or someone you know uses these bed rails, stop using them immediately and contact the seller for a refund. Don't take any chances with this one; it's about safety.

FDA Food Recalls: Ramen, Veggie Mix, and Cream Cheese

The FDA had a busy week with food recalls. First up, we've got VEGETARIAN CHICKEN FLAVOR RAMEN Express. It looks like there were actually *two* separate recalls for this ramen brand, both with similar ingredients (enriched wheat flour, palm oil, etc.). The details are still a bit sparse, so we'll keep an eye out for more information. If you've got some in your pantry, double check the packaging and look for official recall notices.

Next, there's a recall for Hortex Mieszanka 9 - skBadnikowa Spring vegetable mix. This is a spring vegetable mix with 9 ingredients. Make sure to check your freezers, especially if you purchased this imported product. The UPC to look for is 5 900477 018735.

We also saw recalls for Made Fresh Salads brand Apple Cinnamon Cream Cheese and Blueberry Cream Cheese. These came in 5 lb white plastic tubs. If you purchased either of these products, discard them immediately. Better safe than sorry!

FDA Drug Recall: Icosapent Ethyl Capsules

Finally, the FDA issued a recall for Icosapent Ethyl Capsules, 1 gram, packaged in bottles of 120 capsules (Rx only). These capsules were manufactured by Softgel Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. If you're taking this medication, check with your pharmacist to see if your batch is affected. Don't stop taking your medication without consulting your doctor first.

Stay Informed!

That's a wrap for this week's recall recap. As you can see, recalls can happen anytime, and they cover a wide range of products. It's super important to stay informed and take the necessary precautions to protect yourself and your family.
